Reviews
Powerful and Affordable, If a Bit Cluttered
I've been using PDF-XChange Editor for about six months, primarily for reviewing and redacting client contracts. The feature set is incredible for the price – it does 95% of what Acrobat Pro does for a fraction of the cost. The commenting tools are extensive, and the OCR is surprisingly accurate. I can easily flatten comments before sending documents externally, which is a key part of my workflow. My only minor complaint is the user interface. It’s incredibly powerful but also quite cluttered and can feel a bit dated. It takes some time to get used to where everything is. Still, for the functionality and value, it’s a fantastic tool.
