Reviews
A Solid Editor, But OCR is Lacking
UPDF has been my daily driver for about five months. For core tasks like editing text in proposals or annotating client drafts, it works surprisingly well. The interface is clean and much more intuitive than other tools I've tried. I can quickly merge documents or delete pages without any hassle, which covers 80% of my needs. My main frustration, however, is the OCR functionality. When I scan multi-page contracts and try to make the text searchable, the results are inconsistent. It often misses entire paragraphs or scrambles the formatting, forcing me to find a workaround. It's a capable tool for basic edits, but it just isn't reliable enough for heavy-duty document processing.
