Clean interface, makes accounting almost enjoyable
We moved our small consultancy to Xero about six months ago, and the difference is night and day. The bank reconciliation feature is fantastic—what used to be a weekly chore now takes minutes each morning. Sharing access with our external accountant is smooth; they just log in and have everything they need, which saves us so much back-and-forth. The overall user experience is clean and intuitive. My only slight frustration is with the reporting. While the standard reports are good, customizing them to get very specific insights can be a bit rigid. It often requires exporting data to a spreadsheet to get the exact view I need. A small issue, but one I hope they improve.
Clean Interface, Great for Accountant Collaboration
Xero has been a big improvement for my small agency. The interface is clean and makes daily tasks like bank reconciliation and sending invoices incredibly simple. The best feature for us is the smooth collaboration with our external accountant—they can just log in and get what they need without endless back-and-forth emails. It's saved us so much time. My only small gripe is with the reporting. While the standard reports are useful, I wish there was more flexibility to build custom reports directly within the platform. I often have to export data to a spreadsheet for deeper analysis. Still, for everyday accounting, it's a fantastic, user-friendly tool.
