Good for AI, But Human Support is a Gamble
We brought on Crescendo.ai to offload our Tier 1 support queue, and for that, it's been pretty effective. The AI does a solid job handling common questions about billing and basic features, which has definitely reduced ticket volume for our in-house team. The major frustration, however, is the inconsistency of the human agents. When a complex technical issue gets escalated, it's a coin toss whether we get a knowledgeable agent or someone who just follows a script. Too often, our own engineers have to step in to clean up a mishandled ticket, which defeats the purpose of outsourcing. It has potential, but the human element needs significant improvement before I could fully recommend it.
